Yesterday afternoon I ran for the first time since the Comrades Marathon, I can’t even put into words how happy I was to be back on the road after the worst flu I’ve had in years…

It also seems the blisters haven’t healed 100%, but for my sanity I am going to ignore the pain and just keep going.

Running with my original running partner Jo was also a treat – she really is great to run with, dispensing no nonsense advice along the whole route keeping our minds off of the fact that it took us twice as long as what it usually takes, to run from the Sea Point Pool around to Camps Bay and up into Fresnaye – for those of you NOT in Cape Town the road winds along the sea with uninterrupted views of the Atlantic Ocean on the right and the back of Table Mountain on the left – one of my favorite…

Yay for getting back on the horse!!!
